Thank you for your email, As you could understand I am new so please have some tolerance . I haven’t met anyone or talk to anybody, you are first . I wish you luck.I would like to find out some basics so pease be pationt. I am comming from catholic background so my first question is where are main diferences. My main idea is to meet someone and have conversation ,to see how far a part are we or could be some points where we could meet. Mariusz.

In answer to your questions the Gnostic approach is quite different to the Catholic tradition. The main teachings of the modern Gnostic movement is the 3 factors.
One is understanding our own psychology and how it is trapped and to release that energy to experience freedom.
Second is the correct use of our own creative energies to bring us closer to our inner divinity.
Third is the service or sacrifice to humanity.
Most of the teachings are to encourage us to look inside and do meditation so we can experience the truth within ourselves.
